As a full-time Realtor since 2003, I have built my business with one goal, and only one goal, in mind…to provide the best service possible for my clients, not only during the transaction but for years after the sale and/or purchase are complete. I will always be here for you.
During the course of my career, I have seen “hot markets”, “cold markets” and everything in between. Having been through all this, I have the experience to navigate any situation in a way that will benefit you the most. That’s what I want.
One thing that was always important to me was that when my client hires me…they get ME. While I have an outstanding team of marketing and administrative professionals who help me tremendously, I am the only Realtor who works with you. So unless I have an emergency, I am the one who writes up your listing, I am the one who meets your photographer, I am the one who does your open house, I am the one who goes to your inspection with you, I am the one who meets your appraiser, I am the one who negotiates for you, I am the one who goes to your closing with you, etc, etc, etc. I’m with you from beginning to end so that nothing “slips through the cracks”. You won’t get passed off to an inexperienced team member or assistant.
Another thing that I think is extremely important is that when you hire me, I only represent YOU. If you’re selling, I will never also represent the buyer. If you’re buying, I will never represent the seller. This is called “Dual Agency”, and, in my opinion, it’s a conflict of interest. I’m only going to do what’s best for you…not what’s best for you and someone else, or what’s best for you and me.
Because of my experience and reputation, I was asked to teach Continuing Education classes for Community High School District 128 at Libertyville High School, which I gladly did. Some of the classes were “What To Do (And Not To Do) To Get Your House Ready To Sell”, “Understanding Your Property Taxes”, “Downsizing Where Do I Start?” and “Avoid The Most Common Mistakes That Homebuyers Make”. I was fortunate to have met many new and happy clients from these classes who went on to successfully sell and buy.
I work with all different types of clients in the Lake, Northern Cook and Eastern McHenry Counties…sellers, buyers, investors, small commercial owners and renters. And for my clients who are relocating or who are out of my normal work area, because of the world-wide network of real estate professionals I’m connected with, I am able to find them a good, experienced professional Realtor literally anywhere in the world.
Having been Chairman of the GLMV (Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein and Vernon Hills) Chamber of Commerce, I know many, many people who can help you. If you’re selling your house, all of my connections are told about it. If you need a lender or inspector or attorney, I know an excellent one. If you need someone to work on your house, I probably know or can find someone. It’s all about people helping people and I know a lot of them!
Property taxes, especially in this area, are an important aspect of real estate. We have some of the highest property taxes in the country, so even years after my client has bought their house, I’ll be glad to help them appeal their taxes. Over the years, I have saved my clients well over $100,000. And I’ll do my best to keep yours as low as I can.
